MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING
INCORPORATED VILLAGE OF PERKINSVILLE

The legal voters of the Village of Perkinsville, Vermont , having been warned by mail, met at the Perkinsville Community Church, on Vermont Route 106 in the Village of Perkinsville, Vermont, on Wednesday, the Eighth day of August, 2007, at 7:30 o’clock, P.M. Called to order at 7:35 pm

Article 1: Shall the voters of the Village of Perkinsville accept the reports of the Village’s officers for the period from January 1, 2006, through December 31, 2007? NOT PASSED - REPORTS UNAVAILABLE (SEE ARTICLE 6)

Article 2: Shall the voters of the Village of Perkinsville authorize the Board of Trustees to borrow money, if necessary, to pay current expenses in anticipation of taxes in accordance with the provisions of Title 24, Section 1786, of the Vermont Statutes Annotated? PASSED UNANIMOUSLY

Article 3: Shall the voters of the Village of Perkinsville authorize the Board of Trustees to expend such grant monies, gifts, or bequests which may be received by the Village of Perkinsville, in accordance with the terms of said grants, gifts, or bequest PASSED UNANIMOUSLY

Article 4: Shall the voters of the Village of Perkinsville approve the expenditure of Four Thousand, Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($4,250.00) for the support and operation of the Village’s General Fund, and allow the Board of Trustees to set the appropriate tax rate? PASSED UNANIMOUSLY

Article 6: To transact any other business deemed proper when met.
1.The Trustees shall meet at a future date to discuss and plan an
outing or BBQ for the Village, possibly on the same day of, but
before, the next annual meeting.
2.The present Clerk shall get in touch with the past Clerk to acquire
the village records, and will see to their safe keeping, Possibly in a
fire proof container or possibly with the Town of Weathersfield.
3.Trustee Annemarie Christianson will look into the Elm Tree
possibly being donated to the Village.
4.The Clerk will get in touch with the Treasurer, requesting the
Treasurer's Report, copies to be sent to all Trustees. Possible
meeting of Trustees to be called to discuss report.
5.The President shall send, to the Treasurer by certified mail,
copies of receipts for reimbursement of out of pocket expenditures.
