Robert F. Burch, 589 Tenney Hill Road

Chairperson Cobb began the site inspection of the Town’s Tenney Hill property at 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 3rd, 2007.

Mr. Morton, on behalf of the Vermont Department of Forests, Parks, and Recreation, presented a drawing for proposed access to the State’s Wilgus State Forest property through the Town’s lands.  This access would be to perform forestry management operations and wood harvesting within the State Forest, as well as forestry management on the Town’s land.

There was discussion with Mr. Morton and Mr. Burch regarding the existing waterline which comes from Charles Johnson’s property on Goulden Ridge, crosses under Interstate 91, and then goes to several properties on Tenney Hill Road.  Mr. Morton explained that the current proposal was created to avoid any conflicts with that line.

The Board and other persons examined Mr. Morton’s proposal and then walked around the Tenney Hill property to view the terrain and conditions.

Upon completion of the examination, it was the consensus of the Board members present that Mr. Morton should proceed with the development of a formal and detailed plan for access.

Chairperson Cobb closed the site inspection at 4:58 P.M. on April 3rd, 2007.

                                                            Respectfully submitted,

                                                            Laurence J. Melen
