Weathersfield Food Shelf

The Weathersfield Food Shelf has a plentiful supply of food available to assistance local residents who need either temporary or long term nutritional assistance.  The Food Shelf has canned goods, cereals, boxed foods, and other groceries for distribution.  People do not to be on welfare or unemployed in order to receive groceries.

The Food Shelf also distributes U.S.D.A. commodities and other governmental food supplies.  These have been paid for by taxpayers to assist people who need them.

The Community Food Shelf is open every Thursday, from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M., at the Perkinsville Community Church.  For those without transportation, the Boy Scouts make monthly home deliveries.
