Grant Recipients

Proctor Library is pleased to report that they are the recipients of a $550.00 grant from the Ashgate Publishing Company. The money is being used to purchase books for a special collection of picture books used for story times. Story times are being offered at the library on Friday mornings at 10:30 AM and at area day care facilities on a monthly basis. Library volunteer Grace Voorhees (in photo) helps in unpacking the first shipment.

Weathersfield Tales are Here!
A collection of Weathersfield stories is now available at Proctor Library and the Town Office. Topics for the anecdotes in Weathersfield Tales include the farm, village life, schools, murders, natural disasters, holidays, animals, and fascinating characters.
The cost of the book (182 pages, with index) is $5.00. Some people might want to make an extra donation, as any proceeds beyond costs will go to local non-profit groups.
